Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Eferio Communications A/S (“Eferio”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you visit eferio.com or engage with us as an investor, partner, counterparty or supplier.

1. Data controller

The data controller is Eferio Communications A/S, a company registered in Denmark. For any privacy-related question or to exercise your rights under GDPR, contact us at info@eferio.com or via our contact page.

2. Personal data we collect

 • Contact details you provide (name, organisation, role, email, phone) when you write to us, book a meeting or submit our contact form.
 • Correspondence — the content of emails, calls, meeting notes and messages exchanged with us.
 • Investor onboarding information — including KYC/AML documentation where required by law.
 • Technical data your browser shares automatically (IP address, device, browser, referring page) and cookies necessary to operate the site.

3. Purposes and legal basis

We process personal data on the following GDPR legal bases:

 • Contract / pre-contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) — to respond to your inquiry and manage the engagement.
 • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) — KYC/AML, tax, accounting and other regulatory duties.
 • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — securing our site, preventing fraud, and pursuing business development with institutional counterparts.
 • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — where required, for optional communications.

4. Who we share data with

We share personal data only with (i) group companies and portfolio ventures where necessary for the engagement, (ii) vetted service providers acting as processors on our behalf (hosting, email, calendar, CRM, professional advisors), and (iii) public authorities when required by law. We do not sell personal data.

5. International transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA — for example to service providers in the United States or partners in African jurisdictions where we operate — we rely on adequacy decisions or EU Standard Contractual Clauses with appropriate supplementary measures.

6. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes above. Inquiry correspondence is typically retained for up to 24 months; contractual and financial records are retained for at least 5 years to meet Danish bookkeeping requirements.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. You may withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any right, email info@eferio.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.dk).

8. Cookies

We use only cookies strictly necessary to run the site and basic, aggregated analytics. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set.

9. Changes to this policy
