Team surveying an African landscape at the edge of a new development site

About

The development layer behind Africa's next generation of infrastructure.

Eferio originates, structures and scales the platforms that capital, operators and governments need — and stays invested through the long term.

What we do

We build infrastructure ventures that institutional capital can back with confidence.

Eferio identifies essential infrastructure opportunities in Africa, structures them into investable platforms, and partners with operators, regulators and capital to bring them to scale.

Mission

Build the telecom, broadcasting and energy platforms Africa needs — and make them bankable.

Value creation

Combine development and transaction income with long-term equity participation in the platforms we build.

Our story

Fourteen years of building ventures.

Spot the gap. Build something new. Stay invested. From Android app stores to African infrastructure — the through-line has never changed.

Who we work with

One partner. Every stakeholder in the infrastructure chain.

We work with institutional investors, strategic operators, governments, regulators and supply-chain partners committed to building Africa's infrastructure backbone.

How we work

Four operating principles.

A focused model designed for the sectors where fragmentation, regulation and execution determine whether infrastructure gets built at all.

Capital-light venture development — we build the platform before we ask for the cheque.

Aligned with operators, governments and ecosystem partners at every stage.

Focused on essential infrastructure: connectivity, information distribution and energy.

Long-term ownership mindset — we stay invested in the platforms we build.
